William G. Brown, M.D.
As a native Marylander, Dr. Brown attended public schools. After graduating with a B.S. degree from Duke University in 1972, he received his M.D. degree from the University of Maryland in 1976. Dr. Brown's internship year was served at Maryland General Hospital and his Dermatology training at the University of Maryland from 1977-1980. He has been in private practice and Board Certified in Dermatology since that time.
Dr. Brown has Multiple Sclerosis (MS) a disease that damages the insulation of the nerves of young adults. It affects his legs and occasionally his arms which is why his wife, Dr."Jan" Brown assists in the office. His daily challenges with MS allow him to know first-hand the experiences of patients. He skillfully combines a friendly, personable manner with his vast Dermatology experience. He mixes this with a good sense of humor to put his patients at ease.

Janet Ferber Brown, M.D.
Dr. "Jan" graduated with a with a B.A. from the University of Delaware. She received her M.D. degree from the University of Maryland and interned at Maryland General Hospital. She completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Johns Hopkins and is Board Certified in that specialty.
She joined the practice 14 years ago to assist her husband, Dr. William Brown, with the surgery. Now with over a decade of practical experience, she brings her caring approach to this specialty.
